The change you're looking for is you.

Informed by nearly a decade of depth psychotherapy experience and qualitative data from hundreds of counselling sessions, I developed this method to offer practical support for meaningful change.

Inspired by the embodied exploration of Jungian analyst Marion Woodman and trauma-informed identity development of renowned psychiatrist Gabor Mate, the Spiral Self Method explores your essence, your experiences, your awareness to integrate your wisdom through holistic understanding.

Walking the Spiral

Change is the transformation. Trust in the change.

We do not progress in our healing. We go deeper. We walk the spiral of ourselves. As the spiral winds closer to the centre of ourselves, we arrive at the same view again and again but at a new depth, with new awareness and understanding. In our healing journey, we may arrive at the same issues (mother issues, again?) But you have learned so much, grown so much and changed so much. You are closer and closer to the centre of yourself.

Journey to the Center of Yourself

Discover, Know, Accept, Love Yourself with the 3 Principles of the Spiral Self Method

Know Thyself

"It is a privilege of a lifetime to be who you are" - Joseph Campbell & Carl Jung

You’ve spent so long adapting, blending in, becoming who you thought you needed to be. But I want to support you in finding your way back to yourself. You don’t have to prove yourself or strive to be better than you — you just soften into who you already are. You were never meant to be anything but you. You were always meant to be yourself.

Befriending the Shadow

ShadoWork is exactly that - work. Wholeness doesn't happen accidentally.

In the fear of being abandoned by others, we so often abandon ourselves. The parts we push away to feel accepted don’t disappear—they slip into the shadows, quiet and unseen, but never lost. The shadow isn’t something to fear; it holds the parts of you that are waiting to be reclaimed. When you turn toward what you’ve hidden, you’ll find not darkness, but depth—rich with creativity, inspiration, and a sense of wholeness you didn’t even realize you were missing. Repression takes so much energy - it is exhausting to not be yourself. Imagine what could do if you no longer had to keep yourself at bay.

Returning to Yourself

Come home to who you were always meant to be.

When you’re ready to accept yourself—when you stop postponing self-acceptance—you’ll find you have so much to say. Your body, your emotions, your inner voice have been waiting to be heard. By cultivating balance, embracing a life of meaning and purpose, and letting go of perfectionism and imposter syndrome, you open the door to something profound: the ability to people-please yourself. You are not just here to meet the expectations of others—you are a person, too, and you deserve to be pleased with your own life.

The Spiral Self Method

Reimagining the Hero's Journey

An integrative counselling approach ensures your needs are met in a way that is both precise and deeply attuned to your unique experiences. By bridging the wisdom of evidence-based practices with intuitive inquiry, this approach honors both the mind and the soul, the seen and the unseen. This holistic balance ensures that your healing journey is effective and aligned with your authentic self, fostering true transformation and lasting well-being.

Jungian

What is my psyche saying?

Integrating Jungian principles, this approach enhances interoception—the ability to turn inward, attune to dreams, intuition, and somatic wisdom, and respond to your psyche’s deeper needs with insight and self-awareness. Engaging with archetypes reveals recurring patterns in our personal mythology, helping us understand unconscious aspects like the Shadow and Anima/Animus. Through individuation, we integrate these energies, becoming more whole and authentic, and creating a meaningful narrative that guides us toward greater self-awareness and connection.

Existential

Who am I?

An existential approach invites you to explore your authentic self, free from societal masks and expectations. It encourages you to consent to life as it unfolds, embracing your true desires and purpose. By deeply understanding who you are and what truly matters, you create a life aligned with your deepest values and aspirations.

Narrative

What repeats in my story?

Narrative therapy techniques help you recognize repeating patterns that link your past, present, and future selves. By understanding how past experiences shape your current story, you can break cycles, reframe limiting beliefs, and consciously shape a future that aligns with your true self. Your story is still being written.

Trauma-Informed

What shaped me?

A trauma-informed approach invites you to explore the wounds, coping mechanisms, internalized scripts, and self-sabotage that have shaped you. By bringing compassion to what has long been hidden, you can understand your past without judgment, foster self-acceptance, and create space for healing and growth.

Somatic

What do I need to be well?

A somatic approach encourages deep self-care and self-compassion by attuning to your body’s wisdom. By listening to your needs and honoring your limits, you cultivate a nurturing relationship with yourself. This practice fosters balance and safety within, allowing you to move through life with greater ease and self-trust.

Holistic

What do I need to be whole?

A holistic approach honors your bio-psycho-emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions, recognizing the interconnectedness of your needs, wants, and desires. By considering the whole person, this perspective nurtures balance and alignment, supporting your well-being in every aspect of life.

Practical

How do I apply this in my life?

A practical approach focuses on identifying what you truly want in life—your passions, purpose, and aspirations. By applying the principles learned in therapy, we will break down change into manageable steps, fostering progress every day. This incremental approach helps you create tangible, sustainable shifts toward the life you envision.

Spiritual

Who am I becoming?

A spiritual approach centers on how you connect with yourself, others, and the world around you. It invites you to actualize your potential by fostering a deep belief in your worth, knowing you deserve the good things life has to offer. This is not aligned with any specific spiritual tradition but is instead focused on developing self-trust. By listening to and developing your intuition as a skill, you can navigate life with confidence.
